We are excited to share that FSI’s COO, Bill Mexias, and our Data Scientist, Vasileios Palaskas, will be returning as speakers at this year’s AUEB Sports Analytics Workshop, organized by the Sports Analytics Group of Athens University of Economics and Business.

The AUEB Sports Analytics Group, led by Professors Dimitris Karlis and Ioannis Ntzoufras, organizes an annual conference dedicated to all topics where mathematics and sport meet. 

Following last year’s successful participation in the Workshop, and alongside the FSI - AUEB Analytics Internship Program for 2022-23, we are delighted to announce that our company’s Analytics Department representatives will be sharing FSI’s professional experience in the niche field of Fantasy Sports Analytics.

As the Covid-19 pandemic remains threatening, this year’s AUEB Sports Analytics Workshop 2022 (SAW 2022) is organized by Athens University of Economics and Business, Department of Statistics as a hybrid conference, and will take place both online and in-person, from Thursday 26th of May to Friday 27th of May 2022.

The workshop is accompanied by a short course on “BASKETBALL DATA SCIENCE” (23-24 May 2022).

• Fantasy Sports Interactive is an awarded fantasy sports software provider utilizing sports analytics and big data to bring innovation to the global sports betting industry.
  Harnessing the power of statistics and KPIs, the FSI Team has developed an original Suite of sports betting markets based on athletes’ performance and sports analytics.
  FSI’s innovative Suite, the Fixed-Odds-Fantasy (#FOF), was premiered to the gambling industry in 2019, at the ICE London Exhibition. Now, after several partnerships worldwide, the online and retail launch of #FOF markets and exclusive Performance Feed in Greece and internationally, the FSI Team provides insight into both the Business Intelligence and the Data Science behind the concept.
